Apple recently launched its iPhone 14 series, in which apple gives an amazing feature for its users. Now users can send SOS messages via satellite in any emergency.

The distinctive feature of the iPhone 14 is its ability to connect to satellites via a system that directs customers where to point their phones in the sky. In order to minimize the size and make it compatible with the satellites’ constrained bandwidth, the team created a text compression technique.

However, iPhone 14 customers will receive two years of free service until the Emergency SOS becomes a paid add-on option for Apple consumers later.

According to CNET, the feature won’t be available to users outside of the US and Canada or on iPhone 14 models until November of this year.
