Apple unveiled iOS 16 during its June WWDC keynote and then revealed the official launch date during the iPhone 14 announcement last week. You may now download and install iOS 16 on your iPhone because it is now available.
So not every device will be compatible with Apple’s new software update. Some devices, usually older ones that you may hold onto or have converted to grant your old iPhone a new start, simply aren’t capable to install iOS 16.
