Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 could feature a massive 3.9-inch display.
According to reports, Samsung will increase the display sizes of next year’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. According to display industry insider Ross Young, both of Samsung’s upcoming foldable phones will have larger foldable and cover displays.
Young has only revealed the size of the Galaxy Flip 6’s cover screen, which is 3.9 inches. That would make it the largest cover screen on any flip phone to date. It’s larger than the massive 3.6-inch external display on the Motorola Razr Plus.
Young says he’s mentioned the exact display sizes for the Galaxy Fold 6 and Flip 6:
We don’t know much about the Galaxy Fold 6 and Flip 6. Tipster Revegnus previously told us that the Galaxy Fold 6 would have a new display aspect ratio. The reason for this could very well be the increased display size of the phone.
It was previously reported that Samsung is “reverse engineering” the Huawei Mate X5 in order to slim down the body of its next foldable while increasing battery capacity.
Meanwhile, a separate spec leak suggested that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 could have a 50MP primary camera, making it Samsung’s first flip model to do away with the 12MP sensor.
