Tecno launched two new phones today: the Pova 4 and Pova 4 Pro. The Helio G99 CPU and 6,000mAh battery are shared by the two, with the pova 4 Pro adding an OLED screen and faster charging.
The Pova 4 and Pova 4 Pro only be available in Bangladesh. But we expect they will be released in other countries soon.
Tecno Pova 4 battery
The Tecno Pova 4 has a 6,000 mAh battery, whereas the Pova 4 Pro has 45W fast charging. The battery can only be charged at 18W.
Storage
The Tecno Pova 4 has 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
Display
It’s based on a 6.82″ LCD with a refresh rate of 90Hz and an HD+ resolution.
Cameras
The 8MP camera comes with a waterdrop notch. There are 2 extra cameras on the backside, one of which has a 50MP sensor but no details on the other. For depth or macro, we may probably say a 2MP auxiliary sensor. On the side, there is also a dual-LED flash.
Other features
Other noteworthy features include Android 12, dual speakers, NFC, and an FM radio. The phone is available in Uranolith Gray or Fluorite Blue, with pricing to be disclosed.
Tecno Pova Pro
The Pova 4 Pro also has the same Helio G99 CPU as the Pova 4, but a smaller 6.66″ AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and Tecno’s 90Hz refresh rate. RAM is 8GB, and storage is 256GB, extendable via microSD cards.
The cameras remain the same: an 8MP selfie shooter, a 50MP main shooter, and an unconfirmed shooter, most likely a portrait lens.
Another significant improvement of the Pova 4 Pro is the 45W charging with a 6,000mAh battery. It includes 10W reverse charging.
Colors
The Pova 4 Pro is only available in one color: Fluorite Blue.
Price and release date
The price is fixed at BDT 26,900 (about $260). The release date is not confirmed yet.
